Carbon dioxide which is a release when fossil fuels such as burning coal or gasoline, it is the so-called greenhouse gas. Bush supported regulating carbon dioxide when running for office but reversed himself once getting into office, saying he was convinced that voluntary plans to curtail carbon was better then mandatory regulation would be too expensive for business.............................sorry, just fell off my chair laughing.
Now, the Supreme Court will consider the case.

Actually scientifically water vapor is a much more potent greenhouse gas. Perhaps we should stop breathing.

So it is a greenhouse gas, but it is not a pollutant (although a 100% CO2 atmosphere would not be breathable. So if you think about it, it might be a pollutant but not a severe pollutant.)

It's not a pollutant, in that it's not some kind of airborne dirt or poison. But it has been implicated in global warming.

Today, George Bush said that global warming is a serious problem and that we should stop arguing over whether it's the result of human activity or natural cycles and do something about it.

He proposed more nuclear power stations and "clean" coal.

This kind of cracks me up, because it reminds me of the quote about the majority of the Earth's pollution coming from trees. Can't remember whether it was Bush, Bush, or Reagan. Back to square 1.
