House Agriculture Chairman Collin Peterson (D-Minn.) on Friday said climate change bill negotiators are heading back to the drawing board after discussions between Democrats “blew up last night.”

    So I notice that the general public can't read this hard-hitting, scathing rebuke of sticking points on the climate change legislation we're supposedly discussing....

    But I'm sure it's been picked up elsewhere. RC is pretty good about breaking congressional news.

    Let me know if you find something beyond "they're bogged down at present."

    But you sure was one happy ostrich there for a minute! Wee doggies! You buying up beachfront in the alps or something?

    I was a big fan of his when I was more of a liberal back in 1988 when he first ran for President.

    Back then he was a rather conservative Democrat, even being pro-life earlier in his career.

    Now, under the influence of the dubious James Hansen at NASA, he has clearly become a darling of the far-left message board crowd. He's become contemptible.

    Environmentalism has become the new socialism: green on the outside, red on the inside. Watermelons.

    Liberal Loony Democrats simply can't understand why they can't Change Nature, how dare Mother Nature defy them.

    Al Boob Gore belongs in a Cage for little kids to look at.

    Nothing drives the Liberal Loons crazier than a Forest Fire caused by Lightning, they don't have anyone to blame, they can't blame God because they say there is no God....:singing:

    So a scientist gets a research grant from a scientific foundation and has an opinion on who should be President and that makes him no good? I guess in your world only scientists that have their own money for research and never, ever vote are the only good ones?

    Thanks so much for wasting my time. I'll be sure and add all the books your fond of mentioning to my 'don't read' list if they're as stupid as that link.

    No what make him 'no good' are the numerous errors bordering on fraud he has been involved with.

    What? Did he claim there was a large stockpile of WMD's in Iraq and I'm just now hearing about it?

    Sorry, but the link provided by State led its pitch (that this scientist was no good) by claiming that its wrong for researchers to accept research grants or for them to vote. At that point I hit the little x button in the top right corner.

    He has fudged data on a few occasions and been caught, either he is incompetent or he is a fraud.

    How 'bout "incompetent fraud"???

    AlGore's house uses 20 times the energy that the average American family uses. Some example. :nooo:

    What is the link between Al Gore and the Unification Church, usually when the Fogman rants and raves about someone there is some vague link between that person and Rev. Moon...

    Inquiring minds want to know.. did he support communism, was he part of the prosecution team when Moon went to the can for income tax fraud, did he refuse to attend the coronation in the Dirksen Bldg.???

    Thank you for asking. Some things have life of their own and don't need any "links". And they are ALWAYS worth repeating, no matter how many times you see it, it always tastes so good. :D

    Feast your eyes:

    A Tale of Two Homes

    Home #1:

    A 20 room mansion (not including 8 bathrooms) heated by natural gas. Add on a pool (and a pool house) and a separate guest house, all heated by gas. In one month this residence consumes more energy than the average American household does in a year. The average bill for electricity and natural gas runs over $2400 per month.. In natural gas alone, this property consumes more than 20 times the national average for an American home. This house is not situated in a Northern or Midwestern 'snow belt' area.. It's in the South.

    Home #2

    Designed by an architecture professor at a leading national university. This house incorporates every 'green' feature current home construction can provide. The house is 4,000 square feet (4 bedrooms) and is nestled on a high prairie in the American southwest. A central closet in the house holds geothermal heat-pumps drawing ground water through pipes sunk 300 feet into the ground.

    The water (usually 67 degrees F) heats the house in the winter and cools it in the summer The system uses no fossil fuels such as oil or natural gas and it consumes one-quarter the electricity required for a conventional heating/cooling system. Rainwater from the roof is collected and funneled into a 25,000 gallon underground cistern. Wastewater from showers, sinks and toilets goes into underground purifying tanks and then into the cistern. The collected water then irrigates the land surrounding the house. Surrounding flowers and shrubs native to the area enable the property to blend into the surrounding rural landscape. The heating/cooling system is so efficient that initial plans to install solar panels were canceled.

    ~~~~~
    HOME #1 is outside of Nashville , Tennessee ;
    it is the abode of the 'Environmentalist' Al Gore.
    HOME #2 is on a ranch near Crawford , Texas ;
    it is the residence of the former President of the United States , George W. Bush.
    Ahh, actually no Foggy, it isn't the home of the former President. It was the show home of the sitting President when it behooved him to manipulate gullible people like you. Then again, you bein' a cultist and all, actually buying a house to control how you think is akin to swatting a fly by dropping a car on it. He was probably trying to dupe people with some ability to think for themselves.
    Yeah, right, don't you have some homework to do on your DailyKOS reading??
    "Show home"!!! :rofl: Please show this board even one time Geo W Bush hyped his naturally eco-friendly home!! One time he ever mentioned it publicly or otherwise made any big deal out of it. Please, just one time.
    Then, when we clear our calenders for a month, we'll go over AlGore's history of hysterical histrionics. :D The guy's a fruit-cake. First class. I feel sorry for him but he's got serious problems.
    'Did he hype it', are you kidding? He made like 12 trips out to it between January and September of 2001.
    Did he spend so much as one second in it after he was out of public office?
