Hey All,

Long time lurker but absolutely love these message boards. I'm finally able to make the trip from Western Canada to Foxborough this November to see the Patriots play live for the first time. I tried to do a search of the this forum for relevant threads but was unable to find anything recent.

Just a few questions for you Patriot veterans.
1) Any suggestions on what are must sees? I'm already planning on checking out Patriot Place etc,
2) What are the best places to purchase tickets? I'm coming for the Nov 13th game against the Seahawks, is stubhub the best choice or is there something else?
3) Since is a Sunday night game what time do tail gates usually start?

Thanks!

Rent a car, and it's October so Salem is a must see.

Calm down. I am not attacking Boston. I said if you want historical sites or museums Boston is the best. If not it has traffic. ALL BIG CITIES HAVE TRAFFIC. BOSTON IS BIGGER THAN PROVIDENCE AND HAS WORSE TRAFFIC. BFD.

New York, Chicago, and L.A. are bigger than Boston and have worse traffic. Saying traffic sucks is NOT an insult, just an observation. Relax. (Although you will not find I95 North being the same road as I93 South outside of Greater Boston. :) )

I understood what you were saying. It usually takes a lot to offend someone from Boston unless you compare it to NY and if someone doesn't know their way around Boston then it is always great advice to tell them to avoid driving in it if possible.

I'm going to the same game, BUT I already have my tickets.

relax buddy, having a tough day at work today?

with the emojis, this is near impossible to read
I'm smiling when I say this, so stop being mad that I'm impugning Boston because cars exist. Sorry that confused you. (I'd use a smiley face but I want you to be able to read it.)

I don't sweat traffic .....used to drive up the expressway through the big dig for quite a few years.....also drove up 128

Coffee, music, some porn.....easy peasy

Just my 2 cents: I would think that if someone were coming from far away to attend a Patriots game, they would absolutely want to do some siteseeing in Boston if they had some extra time in the area.
