Absolute KEY players on D going down like flies and it wouldn't surprise me if most aren't banged up given the way they've been playing because with that talent there is no way they should be looking like they're looking.
However this all links nicely into what Pats fans (no pun intended) have been crying out for: HELP FOR TOM.
I'm sorry but when you see a name like Vincent Jackson pop up you have to make that leap because he is a STUD and has been for years it's just he's been stuck in Tampa with no QB worth a lick to mention. Legitimate deep threat with amazing hands, ridiculous body control and nose for the end zone.
I'm sick to death of talking about cap space, it's there for a reason and that's to use it. If Tampa potentially just wants rid of his contract and would like just a 3rd round pick then i think it's fair to say this is a no brainer if you're Bill and let's put it this way there is not one single 3rd rounder in this years draft that i would have over a VJax who is in mid season form right now.
The best way to ease the troubles on D? Very simple: improve on O and take the pressure off.
