Can our offense take advantage of an overly agressive Jets defense?

The terminology of the OP question is leading.

If you do anything 'overly' it suggests you have done it 'too much'.

As a few posters have touched upon - balance is usually the key to defeating an aggresive defense - playcalling and execution.

Will Ryan attempt to download his Ravens D straight into green and white, or is it just so much media guff designed to get the Jets fans a little excited and mislead opponents.

The way the Jets offense is shaping up I wouldn't think we need more than 20 points to beat them at any venue - and at rthe end of the day thats all that matters.

Kinda' putting the cart before the horse aren't you? Sure Ryan and some of his players talk about how scary they're gonna be, but we have yet to see how they ACTUALLY will play. Chances are that the Jets may start this way, but if Sanchez never gets off the ground and the offense is practicing the old '3 and out' all game the defense will be too tired to be aggressive because they're playing the majority of the minutes.

Q:Re: Can our offense take advantage of an overly aggressive Jets defense?

A:Sure. We could do that with any team .Most teams are coordinated well and have good balance. Tom Brady's mind and connection with his weaps during "defensive aggression" will be paramount from a real-time execution standpoint.

Another aspect would be the Jets offense.
Maybe our defense scores a TD or sets up a few.

Most teams are ready for the others schemes and matchups-so prep is crucial.
Adjustments can be made anytime.

Good question though.
Decision making is one of the most important abilities of players out there.
Suprise's, like the WildCat and other fluke plays will always be thrown at us.

Yep.

Screens, reverses, draws, and the lateral all work. We have the offensive linemen who can move out to block on the periphery, too.
