I can't see Aaron being able to beat Ben's record which is now at 16 years gone, but he certainly is on his way to 900 or more yards as a TE which seemed impossible in the BB era. So far he has nearly 210 yards in 3 games which would average out to 70 yards per game and that would mean at this pace he would have 1,120 yards on the season. With Moss being blanketed and Wes trying to get back to himself it seems Hernendez is the player that no defense has figured out yet. Maybe he does have a small chance of beating Coates record as a TE but maybe he sees a little less action in the upcoming games or comes across a defense that figures him out. I don't know but from what I have seen he certainly has the ability as a rookie to get it done. If anyone in the NFL is a young Tony Gonzalez type receiver as a TE,its this kid.
