I guess I would just put myself in the shoes of another team's GM. Why bring in a QB onto your 53 man roster who doesn't know your system, was un-drafted and has 1 career completion.
I am sure fans of most teams over value their players but really what is the big deal? He seems highly replaceable.
Agree completely. I think it would be a gamble for anyone to claim him off waivers on the final cut-down day and put him on their 53-man roster. He would have no knowledge of his new team's offense and really couldn't be used in a game. The Patriots may like him, but let's face it--he's probably not the #2 QB in 2008, and probably won't be in 2009. This may sound a little harsh, but if he clears waivers and makes it to the PS, great. If not, well...BB and Scott will take a chance on someone else.
