the BALLZ on this guy....has he been asleep for his LIES to lead to an invasion of a nation and escalated violence of his policy? Is he serious?

    http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/08/11/us.georgia/index.html

Russia's "brutal escalation" of attacks against the former Soviet republic of Georgia has jeopardized Russia's relationship with the United States and European nations, President Bush told reporters Monday after returning from his trip to Asia.

President Bush tells reporters that Russia was damaging its standing in the world.

"Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century," he said.

But he looked deeply into Putin's eyes back in 2001 and decided he was a good man whom he could trust. Ever since then, Putin has continually mopped the floor with our Clown-in-Chief.

    He had nice eyes.

God help us, we're almost to January 20, 2009.

it's a unique and a little unsettling dynamic that the US is transporting Georgian troops back to their country from Iraq.

It was part of the initial agreement we made with Georgia when they agreed to use their troops in Iraq. We just held up our end of the bargain here.

We had like 1000 military people there?
Somehow it seems we are way more a part of this than Bush is saying.

as i mentioned in another thread, i find it striking that the "liberal media" would give hours upon hours of air time to American Enterprise Institute pontification at the podium, as it did on C-Span all night last night. As one pasty white Con man pundit after another (Kagan, Peters, etc.) came up and started spouting off how Russia was the aggressors and was planning this all along, blah blah blah, the puke continued to simmer and creep up my esophagus.

Curious, when does C-Span give air time to progressive or liberal think tanks and scholars? Peace activists? Pluralists? I never see it. But if the Heritage Foundation hosts a dinner? Karl Rove tries to rap at some GOP function? C-Span is all over it.
