But what about the thousands of innocent Iraqi women and children who died under George Bush's hand?

What is the difference between Auschwitz and Baghdad??

Imagine if the Republlicans of the 1940s walked around the country saying that FDR was a lying about the holocaust, and that it was a waste of American lives to stop this, and we should have never gone to war..........

Everyone that I know that has visited Auschwitz has been brought to tears just looking at the autrocitys committed there. And it is kept open to the public to remind them to "never forget"

First off, Bush never said anything like you title (what a suprise, your lying, again). But, I do appreciate your vbeiled Bush-Nazi attempt.

Your comparing the holocaust to Iraq? Wow the Bush hate is just unreal, rational thought is right out the window.

Amazing how the lefties don't assign any blame for the death of Iraqi civilians on the terrorist who are setting off the bombs.

So Mikey are you disappointed and the sharp decline in American deaths in Iraq that are cutting down your opportunities to post about dead American soldiers?

They never mention what Saddam was doing either, Saddam had his own private "Butcher Shop" where he and his Demented Sons used to Rape Little Kids and Carve Up Human Beings With Steak Knives While He Forced Their Families To Watch, a true Bush Hating Democrat will never ever mention this, never.

Did you bother to read the article?
Bush was visibly moved as he toured the site, said Yad Vashem's chairman, Avner Shalev. "We should have bombed it" Bush said, according to Shalev.

We went to war with Germany because they had a mutual defense treaty with Japan, who had attacked the US on our territory. Had Japan not attacked, we might have stayed out of WWII and the fourth Reich might have been in existence today, although the Russians might have had something to say about it

We got into WWII because of Pearl Harbor. There were many who thought that it was inevitable that we would enter the war, but it was Pearl Harbor that did it. Could you please get a grasp on history!

Yes the holocaust had nothing to do with the US entering the war. Roosevelt's performance ignoring the pleas of the Jewish World Congress were disgraceful.

What was Roosevelt supposed to do, declare war on his own? That's against the law! The Constitution actually meant something once. No way that was going to happen. The country was not willing to go even to save Europe!

You don't believe it was caused in any way by the holocaust......however from your quote below you seem to contradict yourself. The nazi's invading poland was part of the holocaust!

I think that the holocaust was part of the reason, but it was not enough on it's own to make us go in there. I think the president and America knew what was going on, and wanted to act, but it was not enough to go to war....and then the attack on Pearl Harbor brought it about.

You're right. The country wasn't actually, but Roosevelt was. Pearl Harbor simply made the inevitable, reality.

During the war there was information about the holocaust being passed to Roosevelt by the JWC and some request, they were totally ignored. An example was bombing railroad lines leading to the death camps, they bombed an industrial complex less than 5 miles from the gas chambers and rail lines but never went after the gas chambers which we knew about. There are books documenting this

I know. I looked it up. I agree that the allies should have blown it up ASAP. I stated so in an earlier post. I was just saying that FDR couldn't have acted alone and should not have because of law. The day the B-17G's got P-51 escort, they should have done the raid immediately. It should have been priority one.

What FDR could have done but choose not to do, was relax the rules for immigrants to allow European Jews into the US, he declined to do so leaving people to needlessly. The mass murder of Jews didn't really start until the invasion of Russia, prior to the invasion of Poland Jews were allow to leave, no one including the US would allow them in, they were left to die at the hands of the Nazi's.

It's to bad there wasn't a GW Bush around to Kill Hitler in 1935 before he could really get going the way this GW Bush killed Saddam before he really got going.

actually, we do.... so do us all a favor and don't represent our argument any more... you routinely get it wrong, and it makes you look foolish...

however, what we do also acknowledge, is that your criminal administration lured those terrorists to Iraq.... Saddam didn't...

    Turkey allowed them in.

Tens of thousands of Jews found safety, in a Muslim country. Imagine that.

    http://www.shenandoahfilm.com/dh.htm

The massive effort's goal was to save 1 miilion Jews, by giving the Nazis 10,000 trucks.
