It happens to every 2 term president.

Not to mention that the Senate has been a little...lax...in confirming people when they're supposed to.

From your posted article. Something you didn't bother to mention:

More than 200 pending nominations are languishing on Capitol Hill, bogged down in political fights between Democrats and the White House.

Well clearly they know his term is coming to an end and it's best not to be in the spotlight when the prosecutions come.

The 200 people waiting to be confirmed are trying to avoid the spotlight how, exactly?

    That part you got right.

That conclusion is just . . . weird.

It's ww83. It's not weird, it's just how he thinks.

Would he have a lawyer present? Will you be certain of his guilt? And, when he confesses, will you be certain he didn't do so under duress?

No lawyer. Don't care if he's "guilty" and I don't plan to ask any questions, so there'll be nothing for him to confess. Recreational waterboarding!

And no--it's no one on this board, or even in public life.
