Last night, GOP chairman Mike Duncan put out some statements on Obama'ss wins, including this line on the Louisiana primary: "If he wins the nomination, Barack Obama’s liberal positions and thin record of experience will prevent him from being our nation’s Commander in Chief. Recent elections have proven that voters in Louisiana want strong Republican leadership – not liberal inexperience – and it will be proven once again this November."

And this morning on Fox, President Bush himself echoed the attack, adding the (also familiar) hint that we don't know enough about Obama.

"I certainly don't know what he believes in. The only foreign policy thing I remember he said was he's going to attack Pakistan and embrace Ahmadinejad," Bush said.

Of course, attacks from the other party can elevate a candidate in a primary, and Obama eagerly engaged, sending Bush's words to reporters with a rejoinder.

"Of course President Bush would attack the one candidate in this race who opposed his disastrous war in Iraq from the start. But Barack Obama doesn't need any foreign policy advice from the architect of the worst foreign policy decision in a generation," said Obama spokesman Bill Burton.

there's a 90% chance that this is made up.

Just like everything else in politics.

I don't know why people even bother making crap up, when all they do is lie about everything.

Bush is right on this one, Bush says he doesn't know what Obama believes in NOBODY ELSE DOES EITHER, he says he wants a Change but he won't tell anybody what the change is.

Obama also has his own little war planned in Dafur but you won't hear about that either, (until later)

Why is Bush's statement called "an attack"

Because it's coming from a conservative. If it was the other way around it would be a "criticism."

I found that story too http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,,23195706-31477,00.html?from=public_rss

The most encouraging part to me are the concerned local citizens (CLC) groups. That means that locals in Iraq are finally standing up for themselves and saying no to Al Qaeda.

The Obama camp had to be high-fiving that Bush would comment on him like that, talking about how you're different than Bush is political GOLD right now.

Does it mean that Republicans still see Obama as easier to beat than Hillary? I mean, they have to know that Bush criticizing Obama on Foreign policy is a boost for Obama, right?
