America would have to be far deeper in the sink than this for people to take investment advice from someone on a messageboard, especially someone who's not familiar with the impossibility of bankruptcy for a sovereign that's backed with the power of unlimited taxation. It's all rhetoric. Lock up your daughters, don't leave the house, the Mexicans are coming.

This is what the Far Left Liberal Progressive Democrat has wanted all along the destruction of America "As We Knew It" they want you to depend on the Goverment for Everything and they want to tell you who you should bring home to dinner and who you should rent YOUR House to.

They hate the idea of people "loving" their country.

Yup, more botton line reasoning from our favorite Amnesty lover. Glad to see you're still concerned with helping our middle class. ;)

    This guy gets it...unfortuneatly.

"I'm not a fan of "bipartisanship" for its own sake. This is a very divided political culture in which bipartisanship is all but nonexistent on everything else, starting with war and national security. So, when the political class is in lockstep bipartisan mode, that's sufficiently unusual all by itself. When it's in bipartisan mode on an issue on which the public is diametrically opposed, that looks less like bipartisanship and more like the lockstep myopia of an out-of-touch one-party state."

Guess that is why George supports this bill, his warm and fuzziness towards the Dems is worn on his sleeve.. maybe he will go over and give Harry, Teddy and Nancy big man hugs. Another warm and tender moment provided by those who know best.

Anmesty will not allievate any of the countries immigration problems.

If you give green cards to everyone who is here now (that would be @ 30 million) you then have to add their families (another 90 million), and then assume that the same level of fraudulent application will be accepted as in the last amnesty in 1986 (61%), that will be another what 40 million.

So that will be a cool 150 million new immigrants. AND NOT ONE OF THEM WILL EVER PICK ANOTHER HEAD OF LETTUCE!!!!! Every farmer I've ever talked to, has said that he could not pay the prevailing wage, with beneifts to his workers, hence it is why the hire illegals. So when these current workers are legalized, the absolute last place you will find them is in the fields. That will be left to the new groupd of illegals which will flood this country.

This is exactly what happened in 1986. and I can not believe that this country is going to make the same mistake, twice.

Will Mata and the rest of the hijackers get their amnesty retroactive?

Nice move, Everyone can agree that there are currently "sleeper cells" in the United States. So to make their job easier, we are going to legalize them, so they won't have to worry about getting accidentally caught by Immigration before tey can execute their murder of innocent Americans.

So the reason we should keep people illegal is so we can exploit them for cheap labor?

Why don't we just close the path to citizenship entirely then, by the logic of your argument? After all, a terrorist could come here legally on a visa, play by all the rules for 5 years, and get citizenship. Or a terrorist could be born into an American family (John Walker Lindh), automatically gaining citizenship. How about we freeze citizenship: if you don't have it as of today, you can never get it, because you could be a terrorist.

They're trying to, which illustrates how inept, out of touch, and moronic our politicians are, and have always been. Really sad.

A touch of LEVITY on an otherwise bleak landscape of despair: Immigration problems.
