Please, Patriots, sign this guy. David Patten is old and useless. And sign another guy while you're at it too.

Sign the guy and I'll give up my virginity.
    That's incentive enough...

By alot, considering he'll probably spend more time in the trainers room than on the field.

I don't get it, he only missed 5 games the last 4 years right?

I'm sure someone will overpay for him though.

Too harsh? Not at all. Forgot one thing though: injury prone underachieving malcontent may be more accurate.

A year ago he was looking for a big contract and had to "settle" for a $9 million one-year franchise contract. Even after last season I'm guessing he's still looking for a big payday, even though his 2008 numbers were the exception and not the norm for him.

    I withdraw my "Yes"...

If he wants anything close to $9M, he's in crazy town.

If this guy had any sort of work ethic he's easily one of the tops in the league. Unfortunately, talent is not all you need when being a great player.

However, if this guy really put work in him with Tom Brady, Randy Moss and Wes Welker? I'm telling you, this guy is worth the gamble.

Constantly questionable due to injury/concerns, it seemed this year was bad as he was always on the report.
I think everyone has always said he had talent(including Tuna), but a 5 cent head.
I'd be very wary of him, especially now where that locker room doesn't have the leaders that it used to.
I think I'd rather have Lance Moore if he's healthy.
