Does anyone know who on this year's team also played in the superbowl against GB in 1997?

Brown wasnt activated for the that SB, and Faulk wasnt with the Patriots until 1999.

Brown and Bruschi were the only ones on the roster, and Bruschi was the only one active for the game.

Oh, and Belichick is a holdover, isn't he? Wasn't he hired as defensive backs/assistant head coach halfway through that season?

Players remaining from SB XXXI: Tedy Bruschi & Troy Brown

Coaches remaining: Bill Belichick & Dante Scarnecchia

You're correct in that he was AHC/DBs coach, but BB was hired right after he was let go by the Browns.
