It's pretty funny coming from the team that perfected cut blocking...

This is exactly why BB says nothing but the absolute crap that he says every time he talks to the media. Every now and then even someone who's got the toughest pedigree around (John Lynch) will say something that makes him sound like a total Sheila.

How could Denver NOT be ready for a Wade Phillips "D" to bring the house on a consistent basis?

An NFL teams personality mirrors that of its coach. Look at us w/ BB, the players keep their mouths shut, say very little, and are respectful when they do.

That is why I have lil use for Jeff Fisher and his band of cheapshot gangbangers. It is also why I am not surprised by Lynch's whining. Shanahan is a Napoleonic crybaby IMO. Indy is a different case, their whining trickles down from Polian.

Enough of my ranting, Lynch needs to suck it up. The real deal starts in 2 weeks.

    Cheers

That's the bizarre part. They thought it was unfair for a blitzing defense to practice blitzing? Were they supposed to practice somebody else's defense instead?

Denver will get their's one day....I just hope they are good enough to make the playoffs so we can crush them this year.

Bad PFinPhilly, you're a very naughty boy, you just tickled the Boxster's pet peeve #1,077; Denver's filthy knee tearing "chop" blocks are not in the same category as those lovely "cut" blocks I saw Light and Koppen unload on Tennessee's WLB and MLB during Cassel's first drive. The difference: one is a block aimed to trip the defender by throwing yourself at his feet...and the other is aimed at the side of his knee, GRRRRR ! Here endeth the rant. :rocker:

Shouldn't the title of that article be:

Hey, I beg to differ. I'd love to see any of the Denver Broncos trying to block my path when I'm good and pissed and surfing the crimson wave.

LOL! Well, I got "surfing the crimson wave" from Alicia Silverstone's character in "Clueless"....it makes sense your way too, though.

Well I got it from a drunken interlude in my yout when after a night of lustful roughhousing I was greeted the next morning by a shocking apparition staring back from within the bathroom mirror.

    Heh,

Anyone care to guess what Bryon Cox would say about Denver?

I remember watching him get cut sideways and his leg broken by Denver. It was a hit clearly designed to injure a player. The fastest way to stop that sort of cr@p is to allow the league or the injured player to file assault charges against the player who causes the injury.

I am NOT talking about legal, solid hits. I'm talking about a "Shanahan Special" designed to injure a player or quite possibly end his career. Also, anyone else remember the cheap shot the Warren Sapp put on a player when he was with Tampa Bay? He blindsided a guy and broke his pelvis. It was ruled a legal hit, but both Sapp and the opponent were too far away to have any impact on the play. That's the sort of stuff I'm talking about.

Football is a violent game, but it's a controlled violence with clearly defined rules. When players go outside those rules with obvious intent to injure, there needs to be a legal way to address that.

    Respects,
