Another option on the WR market
4:32 PM Thu, Feb 21, 2008http://cowboys.beloblog.com/archives/2008/02/another-option-on-the-wr-market.html
Albert Breer

We learned a minute ago what has been expected for weeks -- that the Patriots will not pick up the $8 million due in bonuses to Donte' Stallworth over the next eight days. That means that come Monday, the team will release the receiver.

This brings up an interesting situation, as agent Drew Rosenhaus is scehduled to meet with the Cowboys brass over the next few days. The guy we talked to was asked if Stallworth would be interested in Dallas and responded, "Sure would."

So there's another guy, and a burner to boot, that could provide the team with a nice complement to Terrell Owens.

As expected ... Stallworth has value to Dallas ... T.O. went deep alot this year and he's no spring chicken.

Curious to see what the market for Stallworth is ... but in a weak WR FA group, he could (once again) be the big name.

Would love to have him back at a decent cost, otherwise it's time to roll the dice with Cjax ...

Let the Cowgirls have'em, we still have plenty of depth at reciever, Moss is all but signed...we are just waiting until the 29th for it to be official. Don't get me wrong, I would love to retain his services...that YAC stat was nice.

After we focus on our o-line and "soon-to-be-new" defense, ala: Pees AND CAPERS...we will once again stroll into the Superbowl.

Good God. T.O., Stallworth, and Crayton. That is ALMOST as good as Moss, Welker, and (Gaffney/Booker/Chad Jackson/insert whoever you think it will be here).

Of course, they don't have Brady throwing to them, either. :D

i hope he goes to the browns
