Man, if McKenzie can't beat Alexander, that would be a disappointment. Even if you consider special teams.
Sergio Brown would be a nice surprise. he seemed to be doing well, but I believe Reiss's film breakdown showed a series of mistakes by him last game.

Needs to Go
BJGE - Nothing against him but a #5 RB better be a ST guy. He needs to be #4 or waive buh-bye.
Larsen - I'm a Larsen fan from NCSU, but even I admit he has looked like bantha pudu. PS with Welch.
Lewis - If he isn't clearly ahead of Deaderick (and I'm not sure he is) then he isn't a gameday active 45 guy.
Alexander - Not a stud on ST anymore. Can't trust him to take regular snaps.
Wilhite - Tips for lowering blood pressure: Exercise, cut back on sodium and lose weight (Wilhite's 185 lbs. should do it)
Sanders - Being passed on the depth chart like my grandmother on the freeway
Needs to Stay
Ohrnberger - Has run a little with the 1's and didn't seem out of place.
Richard - Showed potential and hopefully won't need to be active much this year.
McKenzie - Has the heart and desire, but needs more time to develop.
Wheatley - If he is healthy enough, has CB upside and ST skills.
Murrell - ST skills and flashed a little when given regular snaps.
Keep one spot open to sign someone from the cut pool.
The only person who has passed Sanders on the Depth Chart is Chung. And that's a good thing. But you need to remember that McGowan is not that great a safety and proved it the 2nd half of last year. Without Sanders coming in to replace McGowan as the starter last year, the secondary never calms down and the Pats probably miss the play-offs.
