Processing Speed.

It is, above all, why Tom Brady will always be Peyton Manning's DADDY.

You could make the Argument that Manning the Elder exceeds General Tom Brady in every single Measurable in the Game.

And that makes for a bounty of great regular seasons.

But when you're playing the best of the best...Processing Speed is what separates the great Passers ~ like Manning ~ from the great QuarterBack.

Processing Speed.

It is what makes Brandon Spikes...special.

He's ferocious.

He's violent.

He is...intense.

And he is deceptively quick, "40" Times be damned.

Brandon Spikes brings an enthusiasm, and a savage Ferocity, that I believe will soon convert mates and thousands of fans into RABID Spikes FANATICS.

But above all it is Processing Speed, gentlemen ~ his ability to read and react a quarter second before everyone else, and drive towards the play with violent, destructive Force ~ that will enable this exceptional young Warrior to forge...a LEGEND.

Brandon... what made you choose the words "Off the Grid" for your user ID?

Is this the first time a player's agent has made an account here?

Well, I thought it would be a semi clever way to proclaim that my thinking process diverges ~ often dramatically ~ from 99.9999% of the rest of us...and to make a tangential reference to this Great Game, as well.

I like to think that I've never been different for difference's sake: We all want to "belong."

But ~ to paraphrase Cora Munro, as voiced by the exquisite Madelaine Stowe in Last of the Mohicans ~ I'd rather make the most egregious error, than ever abdicate my own Judgment.

How about your own name? Isn't Lille a town in historical Belgium, snagged by France?

Manning exceeds Brady in every single measurable? I dunno about that, it's not like Manning's some athletic freak.

I guess having a fivehead isn't "athletic". . . . ;)

I didn't say that, my good man; I said you could make that Argument. ;)

Tom exceeds Peyton in the number of Superbowls won.

Peyton blows Brady away in having a head most shaped like a fat potato.

I think his head looks more like the one on Frankenstein's monster.

His brother Gomer has a similar one, although he has the better set of stitches, it seems.......

STRONG points, gentlemen. Strong POINTS!! :D

You could watch a movie on that forehead of his.:p

Good point in the OP. Spikes' processing speed and his ability to read the quarterback and/or diagnose the play before it happened is what made him such a great linebacker. I've said it before, but he was almost a ballhawk of a MLB at Florida. I'm looking forward to seeing him mature in our system.

The only "measurable" that matters!

Another one would be "Toughdowns in a Season" or "Regular Season Games Won" or "Career Playoff Victories"

...what the hell am I doing?
