I really thought, underneath it all, that they'd work it out. That really sucks, IMO. :/ Branch, what happened to you?

I'm just glad it's over and we don't have to hear it anymore, although every time he does well and the Pats WRs don't we can expect the floodgates to open.

Not surprised at this, not surprised that Reiss got the news first and reported it first... Felger and Borges must be taking the day off.

Well, it's now do or die with our corp of WRs. No more distraction.

I'm glad it's over. NE still needs another WR to come in and be above all three who started yesterday, but I believe that WR can come from the two who are already on the roster.

Mixed emotions. Sad to see him go especially with the fairly pathetic showing from the receivers yesterday but at the same time I doubt he'd be coming back and a 1st round pick is more than I could've hope for, though it will likely by a late one.

We'll miss you Deion, but the Patriots will go on.

Ok i am going to assume it is a 2007 1st round pick.

Also , what impact does this have on the grievances?? i am assuming it voids them since he was traded?

Wow, hopefully the 9-6 showstopper in Detroit is an indication that Seattle sucks.

I would love to see them go 7-9

Now we know who to root against!!!!

    lose, lose, lose...................

A first rd pick for Branch is a good trade.

I love having multiple 1st rd picks!!!!!!

    Oakland after the Gruden-bowl.

BTW, if the SB loser curse continues, this pick could be in the teens. With the way their OL is playing (and you think NE couldn't block!?), it may well be on it's way.

Bye bye, Deion. Don't let the plane door hit you on the way out of Logan. (Damn, now I have to root against Seattle, a team I've always liked.)

Dammit. That Ron Borges guy said the Pats screwed up. They could have gotten a 2nd round pick, and now they have to settle for a 1st rounder.

I hate it when that genius proves the Patriots wrong every time!

Yes, the Raiders in 2003. They took Nnamdi Asomugha and Tyler Brayton. The Buccaneers gave their first round pick to the Raiders for Gruden, and then beat them in the Super Bowl.
