Since this is the real dog days of the offseason with not a lot of activity going on, I thought it would be time for a challenge for the brains of my fellow Patriots fans

Simply Match up the name of the Patriots player with the College that they went to and were drafted from

Lets see who in here knows their stuff - I will let you know who has been the best at matching up the most correct selections tomorrow afternoon

PLEASE DO NOT CHEAT AND TRY AND LOOK UP THE ANSWERS,IT RUINS IT FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO TRY TO DO IT BY MEMORY OR KNOWLEDGE

To answer simply put number of player and letter of college as an answer
    (E.G. 1-U or 22-T)

Think I got 100% but may have Arizona/Az State mixed up with Bruschi and Russell.
Did not cheat, all from memory.

Re: BRAIN CHALLENGE - How good of a Patriots expert are you? - Match Players with Col

I got every single one except Russ Francis. From memory.

Meaning: I didn't even consult the list of colleges below to match the names with. If I had, I would have matched Russ with Oregon.

I just did it all from memory. Somehow I even knew about Livingstone and NW Louisiana.

This officially proves that I pay too much attention to college football.

The picks marked with a "?" were some type of guess. Some I narrowed down to one of two choices (Bruschi, Veris), others I took an educated guess (I remember Francis being from the west coast so I went with a pac-10 school), and others I used a process of elimination (I doubt Tony Collins was accepted in to Stanford.)

Re: BRAIN CHALLENGE - How good of a Patriots expert are you? - Match Players with Col

ANDY JOHNSON and JACKSON 2 if they did not look up the answers are both one heck of trivial Patriotholics experts because they have answered each player and college correctly for 100% perfection - Great job guys!!

    To summarize ...

    NICK KACZUR - TOLEDO
    JAMES SANDERS - FRESNO STATE
    DAN KOPPEN - BOSTON COLLEGE
    SAM CUNNINGHAM - USC
    JOHN HANNAH - ALABAMA
    RUSS FRANCIS - OREGON
    STANLEY MORGAN - TENNESSEE
    TONY COLLINS - EAST CAROLINA
    TONY EASON - ILLINOIS
    IRVING FRYAR - NEBRASKA
    GARIN VERIS - STANFORD
    BRUCE ARMSTRONG - LOUISVILLE
    JOHN STEPHENS - NW LOUISIANA
    SCOTT ZOLAK - MARYLAND
    ANDRE TIPPETT - IOWA
    STEPHEN GOSTKOWSKI - MEMPHIS
    BEN WATSON - GEORGIA
    DAVID GIVENS - NOTRE DAME
    MATT LIGHT - PURDUE
    LAWYER MILLOY - WASHINGTON
    TED JOHNSON - COLORADO
    DREW BLEDSOE - WASHINGTON ST.
    TEDY BRUSCHI - ARIZONA
    LEONARD RUSSELL - ARIZONA ST
    BEN COATES - LIVINGSTONE

I did not think ANYONE would have had John Stephens or Tony Collins correct but apparently I was wrong if those answers were honest by memory
