In the Wells report, it is stated that Brady and Manning had the football preparation rules changes in 2006. This argument is somehow used against Brady, as a proof that he likes his footballs a certain way (and somehow, would brake the rules to get them his way).
But I see this the opposite way. If Brady was able to get most the the QBs together, and make a proposal to get the rules changed in 2006, why wouldn't he have asked the NFL to change the PSI rule if he felt so strongly about it ? He had already made the NFL changed their rule about football preparations, I would think that, with the NFL going out of their way to help the passing game, the NFL would probably have accepted a new rule regarding the air pressure since the current rule wasn't really enforced anyways.
Thus, I see this argument as another reason why Brady is innocent...but hey, I'm a blind homer !
