Sunday 9pm - FOX:

At his high school reunion, Peter pretends to be a big-shot millionaire to impress his classmates, but the truth comes out when he meets Tom Brady and loses all self-control. Peter makes a drunken run for the bathroom that impresses Brady and lands Peter a spot on the New England Patriots football team. Life is great for the Griffins until Peter's new high profile goes to his head. Meanwhile, Stewie becomes a sports bookie

I don't see the whole fascination with Family Guy, IMO the show blows. Meaningless, stupid, degrading humor.

I think regardless of one's opinion about the show, it's pretty impressive to have an episode of a popular TV show revolve around our QB and team. Imagine that 5 years ago!

I'm not a big fan of the Family Guy either but I will watch. I think it is great news.

I do like the Family Guy and I'll be watching.

Sad but I am kinda looking forward to it. Seeing our Pats on the field led by number 12...yeah, even if it's animated!!!!

Family Guy Rocks. Now American Dad however, that does blow. Cheap knockoff.

Yeah, it's great that we will always have American Dad while the best show on TV (Arrested Development) gets canned this year.

other than sports there is nothing worth watching on network tv.

WTF - Next thing you know he'll be appearing on the Simpsons and SNL!

Regarding the other commentary in this thread, Family Guy, it seems to me, is just trying to out-Simpson the Simpsons, and is a knock off itself. Whiile much of the Simpsons humor is subtle social commentary Family Guy attempts to hit people over the head, ensuring that they don't miss any spoofs or parodies.

Compare that with Arrested Development, which proved once and for all that appealing to the intelligence of some in the general viewing public is destined to fail, and it seems clear that (as was once predicted on the Simpsons) Fox (for all its conservatism in news coverage) is destined to slowly but surely devolve into a soft-core porn network.

Meanwhile there remains some "good" TV out there occasionally... The Office - while not as good as the original BBC series is still pretty funny - and My Name is Earl - actually have some pretty decent writing.

i for one enjoy family guy's, albeit trite, humour. Its the same stuff over and over again, but I only laugh harder as the show progresses.

Family Guy has surpassed the Simpson's. The Simpson's have just gone on too long. But the writing for Family Guy is great.

Hopefully he's wearing more than his Fruit-Of-The-Loom's.

They should take the Sexual Harrassment skit from SNL (a freak'in classic) and use that storyline on The Office. Give Brady some real acting experience other than the horrible written SNL crap (sans the Sexual Harrassment thing) and animation on Fox shows.

Next thing you will hear from other NFL forums is that Brady can't handle being a real actor...he is just using his voice so it is not true method acting that requires talent - it's system acting

I watched the show last night fro the first and probably last time. I do have to admit I did get a few chuckles from it.

Man...that was some of the most intense animated violence I've seen in a while.

Stewie and Brian are what make the show.

Yeah but that beat-down that Stewie laid on Brian was kinda out of character for the show. I dunno, I'm a huge fan of the show and I didn't see that coming. Think it was a bit excessive.

I am a fan of Family Guy but don't get to watch it as much as I would like because, well, I watch Sunday Night Football.

I was actually disappointed with last night's show. That whole song and dance thing was lame throughout, but then it got worse because it just dragged on and on and on.

It took up half the show.

Agreed. I think it was one of the worst 5 episodes ever. It was like, well, let's put in Brady and just mail in the rest.
