Brady is using the same tactics as Rex Ryan. They both tell players that they are elite, causing these players to feel like they don't need to work as hard. The difference is that Brady does it to opponents, while Rex does it to his guys :lol2:

Gee, sounds like Brady is BB trained.....

What did you think he was gonna say? "Carson has talent, but he's a total limp d!ck as a leader. Let's his receiver's say/do anything they want, except catch the ball. He's goes into sideline sulks like a 12 b!tch who just got her period. I'll respect him why he actually DOES something. Peace out...."

    No, I didn't think so.

I really wish people here would acknowledge that there is more to this league than Tom Brady (and peyton). Carson is more than capable of carving up the pats defense.

No he's not. He's a shell of his former self, and he has only a couple folks he can lean on to make plays. he can't throw it long, and it's to be seen whether he becomes the next Bledsoe, holding it to long to make a play, listening to the sound of feet getting closer, and ending up on every third play on his back, with the pass intercepted and some linebacker running it in for 6.

Palmer would make an excellent back up, but he's nothing more than a JAG QB these days.

I'll have to respectfully disagree with Brady on this one.

A JAG QB will probably be able to put 24-30 on the board with this inexperienced defense the first several games at least, its likely going to be ugly early.

I think theres 5 groups of qbs in the nfl. There's Peyton and Brady.
Then there's Brees alone(he isn't as good as Brady or Manning, but is better than everyone else). And then theres Aaron Rodgers, Philip Rivers, Big Ben, McNabb, Romo and Schaub. Then there's the average qbs where Palmer is.
And then theres the bad qbs(Garrard, Sanchez, Delhomme...)

Palmer is far from beeing elite.

2004-2006 Palmer was elite for sure. 2010 Palmer, not so much, but he's not necessarily going to give away the game either.

Palmer = Chad Pennington as far as I'm concerned

I don't know about that. If Chad Pennington had Palmer's arm, he would be, by far and away, the better quarterback. Hell, I wouldn't hesitate to say that Pennington would probably be one of the top quarterbacks in the league if that were the case.

Chad Pennington can take a bunch of scrubs and win games, noodle arm or not. I'm glad the Jets got rid of him, since he was the only player that was tough to dislike. Carson Palmer is, as someone said, Drew Bledsoe reincarnated. Carves up horrible defenses and looks like the greatest player of all-time. Plays against better defenses and looks completely lost, lucky to throw for 150 yards.

Look what happened when Revis shut down Ochocinco last year.

    Two games combined:

19-47, 146 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs. Solid average of 3.11 yards per pass after seeing the same team two weeks in a row.
