The rat was a center ... but marchand reminds me of him ... pesky, unrelenting, skilled, persistant ... I could go on. If Marchand becomes 75% of the rat he'll have a great career.

Go get em' Squirrel. My new favorite player. Makes all the right plays, agitates, creates and can finish. From out of nowhere too. Awesome!

My memory of him ... would be a call now ... is him poking his stick at you from behind, the side ... anywhere. He wouldn't hack you but he would tap everyone and anyone who skated by him with it. He was short already but he would drop down and skate even lower ... he was fun.

Tough to compare directly as Linseman was a center but they are both agitators and they look alike a little bit with the uniform on. Both had tons of energy, quickness and the quick shot.

if memory serves he played with the flyers before coming to the bruins. he was also a tough sob not afraid to drop the gloves. man this run really brings back a sh!t load of memories of the bruins.

Yes, and also with the Oilers. He was there for at least one Cup. They had Gretzky, Messier and Linseman as there three centers...as strong down the middle as any team in NHL histroy, in my book.

I have come to know Kenny these past few years, he lives up here in NH. He is a good guy to talk to as he doesn't mind telling a story or two.

Good lord ... those 3 as centers and all of them legitimate 1st line centers. that team was so awesome I enjoyed watching them play as much as I enjoyed watching my bruins back then.

When he was here Linseman was my favorite player ... I grew up a small scrappy kid so I have a liking for the smaller scrappy professionals in all sports. Us older fans will never forget Ken ... maybe he shows up at the parade ... I hope we see lots of the older players - the fans would love that.

As far as I've heard, they are working on it. I wouldn't worry too much. Chiarelli just had his day with the cup and is now back and focused in on contract talks. I know they've heated up a bit and a deal will definitely be done by the end of the month..

I also think they did this to teach him a lesson after what he and Tyler did after they won..
