Charm is overrated Grandpa Munster...
I liked to correlation between Red and Bill.
I'll take winning over charm any day of the week.
Is it me, or has Frank Deford morphed into Bud Collins?
"I need to come up with 500 words, let's see how flowery my verbiage can be while I say absolutely nothing new".
Yeah, that's really a now and happenin' topic. No elaboration either, just a few statements without getting into any depth. What a tool. Makes it sound like he was mistreated by or in Boston at some point, very sour.
This is sports we are talking about. If they want charm, they can start covering the ballet.
I thought Boston was never charming. I've heard (ignorant) people come on these boards and accuse us Mass-Holes from everything from being rude and provincial to out-and-out racists.
Since when are we perceived as charming? And when did we lose that charm? You want charming? Drive up 95 on a Monday morning to see how charming us Massachusetts residents can be.
Well stated...I like your blend of "flowery verbiage"! Incredibly descriptive shmessy! you sure you don't write for sports illustrated?
I believe PatsNutMe is responsible for the troll attack last night. One of them must have seen your little Hines Ward meltdown thing and called in the troops! I LOVE it but I'd want to hunt you down if I was a Steelers fan!
Having said that, please make more!
I do write in Sports Illustrated.
.......all the time in the dentist's office!
I like to take it to the men's room where...ah, never mind!
THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does SI even recognize MLS as a sport? Every time I hear people talking about all of Bostons great teams this year the MLS are always left out of the discussion.
It can't be that Boston and New England have recently lost their charm - I've been telling dorks like this guy to cram it for years! :singing:
They are the XFL of sports.
so the actual Washington Redskins were 'ours' Boston Redskins before Patriots were founded from Mr Billy Sullivan ?
That would be correct, ipp. The Boston Redskins.
