as he seems to have finally seen the light, try not to read this fool, but this mornings column deflates the argument by the pundits who will negate BB and his choices yesterday...

Of course he has to throw a few jabs at BB, but that is Borges being Borges...
I suspect that when it is all said and done, and when documented that he is overplaying the Parcells stuff... who may have been a factor, but probably not the biggest factor..

Right way to play it - BostonHerald.com

There are many things to criticize Bill Belichick for, including the childish way he acts after a loss like yesterday’s, but trying to win Sunday is not one of them. What he was doing, and what Welker was doing, is what they’re paid to do. It’s what the Indianapolis Colts were paid to do a week ago but didn’t.

Bill Parcells taught that to Belichick, and someone taught it to Parcells, and Belichick has been teaching it to his team for a decade. Winning, like losing, is a habit. It’s not one you want to get out of at this time of year, especially with the Baltimore Ravens coming to Foxboro on Sunday.

Maybe hit lit a cande while he was there.

To make reparations for his idiocy he would have to go to every church in New England and light every candle...

Re: Borges must have gone to church yesterday....

Every now and again, Borges has to begrugdingly give BB and the Pats credit, it sticks in his craw, and he doesn't sleep well until he gets the next shoe to drop. Wonder if he ever liked a boxer for 2 fights in a row.

Thought you usually do that after a pile of crap leaves...

As usual, he's being contrite again...insulting Brady and putting blame on Welker especially how he ran the route. He will be using those two as his targets all winter, this is the first volley from him against them

Re: Borges must have gone to church yesterday....

It's pretty clear to me (from listening to the Brady interview on D&C yesterday) that the Pats really didn't care about winning the game. So the premise of Borges' article is wrong.

That being said, I have no problem with Welker being out there playing. Not even the Colts rested their starters for an entire game, and Welker was injured in the first quarter.
