Romney Up 7pts in Early Voting.

Romney Leads Among Early Voters, Similar to His Likely Voter Lead
Thus far, early voters do not seem to be swaying the election toward either candidate.

Romney currently leads Obama 52% to 45% among voters who say they have already cast their ballots. However, that is comparable to Romney's 51% to 46% lead among all likely voters in Gallup's Oct. 22-28 tracking polling.

At the same time, the race is tied at 49% among those who have not yet voted but still intend to vote early, suggesting these voters could cause the race to tighten. However, Romney leads 51% to 45% among the much larger group of voters who plan to vote on Election Day, Nov. 6.

    Oh happy times!

Can't wait for Mitt to win!

I mean tax breaks for the rich! YAY!

More min wage paying jobs! YAY!
Higher taxes on the poor and middle class! YAY!

Its gonna to be nice for a change to have someone in office that's there for the 1%....instead of the rest of us, the lazy irresponsible losers that fight the wars and teach our children and protect us......god what losers!

I hope for my children, Obama wins....

Re: Romney Up 7pts in Early Voting.

You'd rather be up in early voting, than you would down, but since we don't elect our presidents by popular vote, this doesn't mean much. I've seen the point made that the edge for Romney nationally is mostly due to his high support in red states (where people seriously dislike Obama). At the very least, that point is plausible. In the swing states the polls are much tighter, and ultimately it's those numbers that matter.

One week left. Who will be right? Pats13 bold prediction of a Romney blowout winning every swing state, or JackBauer's firm stance that Obama has it in the bag?

The election has been postponed until Nov. 6th because of...umm, U.S. law.

Romney's doing very well in the red state, but Obama's leading in the blue states and the swing states. Obama now has a good chance of taking OH and VA, and is very competitive in FL. That said, the Gallup poll seems to support the contention that Romney is crushing Obama in places like TX.

    http://www.politico.com/blogs/burns...a-leads-priorities-usa-swingstate-147609.html

    1. The President is holding narrow but steady leads in Colorado, Nevada, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. The race is a dead heat in both Florida and Iowa, with the President leading in each state by a single point.

    2. For those who have voted early, he is leading by double digits — in Ohio, the margin is 2-1.

    3. Romney’s favorable rating has been steadily falling since his polling peak and plateau following the first debate. He is now back to a net-negative favorable rating in each of these states. (Here is our ad "stage" that is running in those states, effectively helping to drive his favorability down.)

Sounds a lot like Obama, well except for the more jobs thing, minimum wage or not.

Well there is some GOP analysis of the early voting that is very interesting IF correct:

Some see GOP voting tsunami coming | WashingtonExaminer.com

And even with this attempt to give the press something positive to spin for Obama they are trailing by 7% (wonder who is predicting a 7% win for Romney.....oh yeah that would be ME :D

As others on this board have said look at where the candidates are spending their money:
