BOLD Predictions for Pats in 2007

Ben Watson will catch the ball.

Predictions:

1. Moss will look TIGHT in a Pats uniform and catch deep bombs all day.
2. Stallworth will look TIGHT in a Pats uniform and catch deep bombs all day.
3. A.D. will look TIGHT in a Pats uniform. He will line up at ILB, OLB, DE, CB and S.
4. Maroney will continue his quest for TIGHTNESS now that he is the starting running back and has a year under his belt. If healthy, he should rush for at least 1,400 yards. No more safeties in the box spying on Maroney.
5. Brandon Merriweather will look TIGHT in a Pats uniform and will wear the same visor he whore at Miami. Will be a starter day 1.
6. This will be the year that Tom Brady breaks the 30+ TD mark and may push for 40.
7. The Pats offense will be at least top 5 and may push for the best offense in the NFL.
8. Chad Jackson's quest for TIGHTNESS will have to take a back seat due to him rehabbing his injury. With the new additions, why rush him back?
9. Ben Watson will be WIDE OPEN on passing plays because everyone is going to be accounting for Moss and Stallworth. In result, Watson has a huge year and makes the pro bowl.
10. Pats steamroll into the superbowl like the Eagles did with T.O. yet the Pats will walk all over the NFC.

This is just a taste. More predictions to come!

Brady looks TIGHT in those manly TIGHTS he wears
Brady TIGHTENS UP when the pressure to score SIX at the end of a game arises
BB a$s TIGHTENS UP every time the Pats defense gives up a 30 yard pass play to the Colts
NE is TIGHT in the wallet

Stay tuned for more....

My bold prediction is that Reche Caldwell will be the #2 reciever at seasons end.

This is an interesting prediction. Stranger things have happened than Moss being double teamed, Stallworth tweaking a hammy and being listed as questionable for 4 straight weeks without seeing the field, and quiet Reche Caldwell running the 12 yard routes that Tom Brady has been throwing for his entire career for 4/5 catches and 60 yds a game.

That all being said, the only thing that I think is more unlikely than Caldwell being the #2 receiver is that Jackson is the #1!

You forgot to mention Brady looks tight holding his 4th Lombardi Trophy.

Nothing like playing both sides of the fence there, "fervor"

And when Freeney gets paid, you'll laugh and say the Colts overpaid?
Never heard anyone mention the Colts being cheap. However, it seems many have that opinion of Razor Boy.

He'll Never leave but at least he's entertaining

my prediction

1st in total offense
2nd in total defense
14-2 record (and the two losses are close ones)
Brady finally gets MVP
They beat the Broncos and Colts to get to the Super Bowl
They Beat New Orelans in the Super Bowl

How is that playing both sides of the fence? Freeney is set to have a cap hit of over 10 million dollars. NO ONE the Patriots signed is going to cost that much (or anywhere near it), and neither is Asante Samuel if he plays out the franchise tag.

And the Patriots spend to the cap every year so when people say they are cheap they have no idea what they are talking about.

Look who you lost. 5-6 of them are starters. You will need to replace them with rookies / unproven players. Your depth chart is eroding. Throw in a SB letdown and every team in the league gunning for you will make it a much tougher year than you think.

As everyone always says, with the cap, one team cannot spend more than another. Our money was spent already, paying our core players. NE, on the other hand, had some left. In part due to the fact that they wouldn't pay key contributors like AV and Deion Branch;)

They offered lucrative contracts to both. There is a difference between not willing to pay someone and not willing to over pay for someone. Get your facts straight.

They were willing to pay them, just not the ransom they wanted. Branch was still under contract.

I've been through that list before, so I will not rehash. Bethea started 14 games last season. Hayden and Jackson
also have plenty of experience. The offense is intact and will improve over last seasons numbers. The defense was absolutley horrible in the regular season. Another Patriot playing both sides of the fence. Had we kept those guys, you'd say you're licking your chops, because the defense will show their "true colors"again.
Gunning for us? 13-0 and 9-0 last two seasons. Teams are always gunning for us!

Not really that the team just knows how to work the cap better then most teams while you have 3-4 top guys the rest are average or below where has the past have 3-4 top guys (who make less then yours) and the reast are average or above

And rumor has it, Polian and Irsay have made a handsome offer to Freeney, so what is the problem? Does Irsay overpay or underpay, which is it?
