"I just noticed that maybe this was having some effect on him not in a positive way," Saban said. "That's why we gave him a day's rest."

He JUST noticed that his QB getting the snot kicked outta him on a weekly basis is not a positive thing? Brilliant. ;)

I think your reading that wrong tshirt.

I think saban meant it like 'this is JUST why I did it'.


he has been getting beaten down for awhile now though!

No, no.. ;) Key word was noticed. He wasn't concerned, or worried about the beating his guy is taking, he wasn't surmising, or thinking his guy needed a break... he "just noticed that maybe" his guy getting beat on is not a positive thing. :D
