Well, Condo has been a goner since he got here. He was not going to unseat Paxton.

And I saw the Mortenson release. Clearly when Bramlet came into the game on Saturday, he showed he deserved that last QB slot.

Thanks for the info, Chris.

Well, I've got 2 of my 14 predicted moves right so far...

:D

You can't teach that kind of technique, it is learned. :D

No, buy by showing he's ahead of Mortensen on the depth chart.

Bramlet will probably be cut too, anyway.

I thought that coming in to kneel meant that he had sewn up the QB practice squad slot.

On a side note, Walter Rasby was signed by the Jets today.

During his press conference Monday, Aug. 21, New York Jets head coach Eric Mangini commented on the addition of TE Walter Rasby (Patriots). "Walter's a physical guy, he's a tough guy, good run blocker and a good person. I'm looking for a lot of things from the veterans like leadership, experience, toughness and I like the things that he's done in the running game. I think that that's a real asset."

Well, that is the last QB slot with the team. ;)

I'm planning on using that bit of Sharper wisdom at every possible opportunity to enrich my life. I already applied it last night to my 4-year-old's impressive eye-batting and wheedling techniques to score herself some ice cream.

Congratulations to both Mr. Rasby, Mr. Gorin. Kudos to Coach Bill Belichick for getting a couple of gritty, good citizens, but not the most talented veterans, a couple of opportunities to continue to play in the League.

Not a big surprise... I'm not sure either needs to claim a spot on the practice squad but both are fine shadow roster material

the Patriots are pretty good at keeping a bunch of guys "out" there who at least aren't starting from scratch in the system
