Dream on. If the Patriots didn't draft Brady Belichick wouldn't be a lock for the HOF. Belichick and Bledsoe were not going to remain a HC/QB tandem much beyond 2001. It would have become a tossup as to which one Kraft was best able to justify retaining...although the Boston media Drew was cozy with would have likely made that regrettable decision for him. Drew was not a good fit for the system Bill and Charlie ran, in the locker room or on the field. Turns out he was not a good fit for anyone trying to run a system... And if you don't believe that you can ask Mike Mularky and Bill Parcells/Sean Payton... guys capable of some level of success when they work with a QB who does fit...
