The liberals hate the idea that blacks and hispanics are members of the tea
    party.

I think it is histerical that the racist NAACP is calling the tea party racists.

    Google... Kenneth Gladney

    A RACIST ORGANICATION !

Where was Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton when this poor Black man was
    beaten?

The President of the United States sent out his wife, the Angry Black Woman, on a hate-filled mission to promote and increase the divisiveness in our society.

That really just about says it all about our Crackhead in Chief.

    Beware Tea Partiers.

These people are plants, sent by Obama to report back to homeland security.

I'd check their underwear before letting them into any rally. Ya'll know that guy was an African, right?

    Think this can't happen????

Remember when Bush sent spies to infiltrate anti-war groups after 9-11???

    Peace Fresno much?

    Exactly, it's all the same.

That said I do think there's an attempt to demean the Tea Party ( God forbid a third party actually emerge and attempt to gain some sort of strength, after all we're all so delighted with the 2 party system aren't we:rolleyes:)

    hahah..

    well played.

As I've stated in the past, the tea party is doing nothing more than helping take republicans away from the GOP. I would love to see a viable 3rd party, but it would have to be something that is able to draw from both the left and the right.

You think there are attempts to demean the Tea Party?

ROFL, there is no doubt in my mind.

It's all part of their strategy. The Rules for Radicals, Saul Alinsky way.

Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. “You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”

Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.

A good tactic is one your people enjoy. “If your people aren’t having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic.”

Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage.”

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.

This is my shocked face:

    You can't be serious.

That's like saying "an attempt to make the Lions look hapless."

That's like saying "an attempt to make Courtney Love seem somehow distasteful."

That's like saying "an attempt to paint Mel Gibson as insensitive."

You can't demean the Tea Party at this point.

    Just sayin'.

There's always been an attempt to demean/degrade/extinguish a third party, why should this one be any different? And to date, there still is no signifigant third party is there? You actually think that's a GOOD thing?

You will never see more hatred, venom, bigotry and intolerance for any group of people than you will coming from the left directed at any woman or minority who dares to actually be a conservative.

The American left is nothing but a bunch of disgusting, sexist and racist hate mongers.

I love it when someone from the right insists that you'll never see more hatred, venom, bigotry and intolerance than that which comes from the left who then, not to be outdone, goes on to spit hatred, venom, bigotry and intolerance.

Actually, I think one and a half Republican parties is plenty. Not terribly enamored of anybody inventing the Republican-er Party.

Third parties pop up regularly, and as fly-by-night as Perot looked, his bid in 92 looks positively statesmanlike by comparison.

Ridicule is not what kills third parties. They are co-opted into nonexistence, not ridiculed into nonexistence. And the Republicans are already hard at work trying to determine just what these guys' message is so they can become them.

Lo and behold, the message is exactly the message of the base of the Republican Party.

The more people are fooled by the emerging Silly Party, the better, from my standpoint.

Here is your first clue, neither the Democrats or Republicans want a third party, they are satisfied with the current two party system.. any change would undermine their stranglehold on american politics.. they control vast wealth and power..

To try to bring together extremists is not a good answer, bringing together the vast majority in the middle is a better idea... the issue with the Tea Party is that there is no centralization of power, so it seems every day that there is a new episode of extremist behavior and no way to modulate that behavior.
