:) Way to go old man!!! Show all those young pups how it's done! So glad that you broke the record while playing at home, just wish we could have won the game too!!!!

Troy is great. Wonder how many of those receptions were part of a scoring drive? I bet a very high number, since he's such a clutch player. But, what about that taunting call on him after he caught the record-breaking pass? That was such b.s. The video replay showed that he did nothing, nothing at all. Those refs were a lousy group.

refs had a baaad nite, no question.

he did all this thru dedication and hard work. stanley morgan was a high draft pick, strong pedigree, high expectations. troy was a low (8th?) pick, got cut a couple times. worked his way up from practice squad. parcells kept him around, kept him working. like what's happening with bam phillips rite now. so he 's a more old-fashioned example. he Earned It.

the thing about nfl refs: they make ssome awful calls. awful. but they are almost always in position. look for this in games and ya see the ref is almost alwaays Right There, in the frame on the replays. look for it in NCAA games and the difference in quality is remarkable.

The only remote explanation I could think of is when Troy flipped the ball back toward the ref as he was walking away, the ref thought he was directing it toward the colt player on the sideline. Even if that was the case, it was really stretching it for a 15yder!! Couldn't believe that one or Vrabe's(all I could come up with on that one was they called 50 by mistake) but as in any game, poor calls both ways(Brady's 2nd sneak?).
