This is a biased source, but there is not a lot out there reporting this continued fraud and theft in Afghanistan.. they are more concerned with what Hillary says.

Maybe this batch of Wikileaks does have some merit..

All the while the Defense Contractors continue to defraud and steal, and in Afghanistan we just give it away...

There was the familiary cry of out of control government spending in the recent election and the effort to stop funding for a few "chump change" beneficiaries.. but for the billions wasted in Afghanistan there is no outcry or protest.

Prepare for attacking the source, without vetting the information which is from the wikileaks information just released..

Confirms my contention that people are resolved to the waste in Afghanistan, but would rather focus on the out of control spending that relates to Smithsonian, PBS.. all the while none of this makes any sense.

Nothing to see here folks, we have become completely desensitized to the fraud perpetuated by this war and its players..

Sure the right will want to defund something else soon..

I'm not sure the $2 billion per week is an accurate figure, but I am convinced the real reasons we're occupying that country are not being openly conveyed in the U.S. media. - nefarious profits from natural resources:

    1) control of the opium trade
    2) gas/oil pipelines from the Caspian basin

The only phony here is you, as every day you politicize the dead soldiers and belittle their families, under the disguise of some type of jealousy because the anti war movement is dead.

Come up with something besides polilticizing dead warriors.. it is getting pretty tired.

If you have to ask this idiotic question, you would never understand.

Every day you want to make dead warriors into some type of political footballs, in some very weird effort to denigrate Obama and praise Bush..

Give it a break, I guess it is ok for the US to continue to spend money in Afghanistan...

If you want to do something about the war, send a message to Ms. Collins and Snowe, or maybe for you it is better to just whine and say the same thing day after day.. if you are that concerned do something more than politicizing dead soldiers..

Not this clusterf...ck is as important than a chump change issue in the pentagon or PBS.. but these Wikileaks cables are revealing..

The thought police will not allow this to be on Fox News or the Washington Times, bytch all you want the the NY Times is reporting it..

Remember how the Left Wing Media, The Democrats and Hollywood politicized the dead soldiers and their families during the Bush Years, the same wars are going on and sodiers are still dying but the phony left wing is dead silent, the reason, they don't want to make their Little Poster Boy President look like the Politician Clown that he really is, these are Obama's wars now so his a$s kissers are all silent.

You were one of the baztards who supported Bush, and now you are angry because Hollywood is not angry and protesting..

Are you angry at the Hollywood folks or are you angry at the Hollywood Wife Swappers?? Why don't you make your feeling known in a public setting , instead of on an anonymous internet message board.

I supported Bush in the begining but after watching him hug and kiss those friggin Arabs and after watching him look the other way while America was being INVADED by Criminal Illegal Aliens I dumped Bush.

I supported Bush "getting saddam" but after he got him he should have gotten out of Iraq immediately, f-ck those people most of them hate us.

So you are part of the problem.. if you are so hell bent on doing something about the war, do it. When was the last time you looked to Hollywood to solve this Country's problems..

If you want them to solve them, you will have a long wait, they usually make things worse.. it is not about the war, it is about publicity for them.

Write to your congressmen, or better still email them, go down and march infront of Bath Iron Works... or you can just wait for a Hollywood Wife Swapper to lead the way, but do not hold your breath.

I mention Hollywood because they were making the most noise blubbering about the wars, the Left Wing media didn't let a day go by without using some wife swapper from Hollywood as their spokesperson to bash The Hated Bush over the wars, Sarandon & Penn were on the front pages more that the weather report was, thats why I use "Hollywood".

So is your problem that you now feel betrayed by "Hollywood"? After all, you claim to be on the same side, both re the wars and re Bush.

Why aren't you upset with Fox or any of the Republicans who supported Bush and his wars?

The last time we looked to someone from Hollywood to solve our problems he granted illegals amnesty and gave us the largest tax increase of all time. Never mind a whole bunch of other shenanigans..

    Hollywood people are not leaders..

Could a moderator please merge this thread with any one of the several hundred threads the OP has already started which talk about the exact same subject? They're starting to take up too much space on my PC-XT.

Nothing to see here, there is a much greater concern about of of control spending in PBS, ACORN or Smithsonian.. while every Karzai walks around with 52 Milllion in his pocket.. that came from your tax dollars by the way.

Not important at all, even though the military comprises 58% of our spending..

Nothing to see here at all..

Thanks for the great, insightful response.. back to piss christ for you... that is what the thought police want you to focus on... dittoheads rock on. :rocker::rocker::rocker:

Well certainly nothing that you haven't already posted a couple hundred times.

It OK, Darryl. We get it. The military wastes money.
