what do you think IF we get the second pick?

Yeah, I mean this couldn't have gone in one of the other 10 threads on the subject.

Well thought out thread. Did you get the idea from the other 10 that ask the same thing?

TRADE TRADE TRADE TRADE TRADE TRADE TRADE TRADE TRADE TRADE

There I answered all 10 threads about the same thing of and just to be safe

if it's pick 1 TRADE
it it's picks 3-12 TRADE

Depends on the Trade. I know in the Past the 2nd pick has gotten a kings ransom, but it didn't turn out that well. In the 98 draft the Cardinals had the 2nd pick, and the Chargers had the 3rd. The Chargers gave the Cards the third pick , their 2nd round pick, their 1st round pick in 99 and 2 players to move up 1 spot. If the Pats got a deal like that they would be stupid not to do it. Problem for them is that the Chargers did this to take Ryan Leaf and set their Franchise back 5 years in the process so I think teams will be a little leary of doing it.

Trade the first round pick to the dolphins for Jason Taylor.

Is there VALUE at this pick? That's what BB would ask.
Who could help us at the 2 pick that would be worth so much money?
We are better off trading down to get a 10+ pick and future picks.

My god man trade the pick. Trade down for a stub lb / db and a SLEW of picks.

Pick up another back in the second round :)

THERE IS NO WAY WE DON'T TRADE THE #2 OVERALL.

THERE IS NO WAY WE DO DRAFT MCFADDEN.

You guys might not like Maroney enough as the team's starting RB, but all that has been reported, from sources close and not-so, is that the coaching staff likes what they have in LoMar very much.

It also wouldn't even come CLOSE to being the right "value" to draft McFadden (or any RB) at that spot. This precipitous fall of SF's draft pick is a HUGE opportunity for the Patriots - a franchise-bolstering chance to re-load in a very real, tangible, Dynasty-extending way.

Why would they spend that pick on a position that does NOT need filling when there are others - LB and CB, to name two - that could be, next April, in crisis? That makes NO sense.
