At this point in the offseason, how can anyone even have an educated guess?

Based on the limited information available, I'd probably say Lloyd, since a) he's a good player at a position of huge need, and b) I think locking up a WR of his caliber at relative peanuts played at least some role in being able to allocate more money to Gronk to lock him up long term.

Until we see these guys on the field, though, it's hard to even speculate.

D: ALL OF THE ABOVE! It's been a sensational off season.....

Y'know, I like the Steve Gregory signing. He may be able to stabilize the defensive backfield a bit. Extending Gronk was certainly an excellent move, as was signing McD. A little meh on the draftees. Hoping Lloyd isn't Ocho II, i.e. a system mismatch. Cutting Ocho himself was an example of the Patriot Way, but was also, sadly, inconsequential. There are a lot of balls going to be thrown around though. But Gregory might be able to take some of the pressure off Chung and might be able to be a player who can be in the right place at the right time, unlike the flotsam and jetsam they threw back there after all the cuttings and injuries. The defensive backfield was a weakness all season and their poor play ultimately cost us the SuperBowl. So I voted, "other," this early in the preseason and my fingers are crossed that he can contribute.

I think McDaniels coming back in an omen...this time, we're finishing the perfect season ;) but seriously, we lucked the fu(k out with that timing! Our O.C leaves, replaced by one of the best O.C's in the game and already has Brady and BB's trust. Not to mention LLoyd tagged along. This offense could and probably would look way different headed into next season if Joshy wasn't back.
