Once again im having a hard time remembering names, but i do believe he had heart problems and was hospitalized during one of the seasons he coached for us. He was a very emotional guy. He didnt get us many wins during his time here, but the way he coached, and the way he showed emotion made him very likeable in my eyes. Does anyone know who im talking about?

Chuck Fairbanks. He had a powerhouse team in 1976 and then

**** Sullivan made his presence felt.

The Tuna was more of a mercenary, have to go with Fairbanks.. the Felger book gives some pretty good insight into his strengths.

Parcells/Fairbanks -- it's pretty much a tossup. Fairbanks should've won a SB the year we got screwed by Ben Dreith. Those were some powerhouse teams in the mid/late 70s, and Fairbanks did it all on a shoestring budget through good drafting, etc.

Then the Sullivans got involved.

I would say Chuck Fairbanks.He inherited a real mess and developed a very good team in two years. If The Sullivans had left Him alone We would not have waited untill 2001 to Win a Super Bowl.
