If there is any team left in the playoffs you can say that you respect,Which team is it and why?

I would choose the Colts even though I hate Manning, the team has been solid for many years now and dealt with injuries this year like no other but yet still won 13 games.

The Colts are also respectable to me by the way the players are chosen through the draft and just like the Patriots, thier draft picks almost always contribute to thier success and Polian makes little mistakes in drafting and not bad in FA either.

With Eli playing like Peyton these last couple weeks, I'd have to say I respect the Colts and Giants ... Polian is still an *********, though.

Without intending to be rude - The Colts. Duh.

I honestly believe there's only two teams that can beat the Patriots in the AFC. Those teams are The Patriots and The Colts. Chargers, Jags, whoever, I think we would have to play a crappy game to lose. Whereas the Colts could play better than us even if we play well. Could, not saying will.

I suspect I put the Cowboys/Packers in the Jags/Chargers group but I don't want the NFC all that much.

Its not such an obvious question in here - too many guys hate Peyton and have no respect for him so its not as easy as you state

I know it sounds like drinking the Kool Aid, but you have to respect all of the teams - at least to some extent.

If the Patriots play their A game, no one can beat them. If they have a B game, they can be beat by a couple of teams (Colts, Cowboys, Chargers?). A few unusual mistakes and a C game and any of the remaining teams can beat them.

Rest assured, Belichick will give all of the Pats' opponents much more respect than they are due.

I respect all of them except the Chargers, can't do it. I can't stand most of them for different reasons. Except the Seahawks. Really like them-except Mr. Branch.

I repsect them all for getting this far though.

I respect the Colts and Cowboys, despite Romo's recent struggles.

    Disable Jersey

Colts, Cows and a hat tip to the hated Jints for playing tough.

I really respect the way the Colts run their org and build a team and I respect Peyton Manning. I just cannot stand Polian.

    Colts: Yes, grudgingly

Chargers: Not one ounce, bunch of crybabies

Jags: I like them, I wish Tampa would trade teams with Jax, they are fun to watch.

Cowboys: I'm not drinkin the kool aid

    Packers: Ehh, they're OK

Giants: They have really gained my respect after going all out against the Pats.

    Seahawks: ZZZzzzzzzzzz

You really think folks here don't respect Manning? I respect the heck out of him. He's a great player, and were he to be injured Indy would be toast.

As for the teams I respect, I'd have to say all of them. In this league, any team can beat any other in any given week. Let me do an immediate edit, and say while SD has talent, I don't respect them overall. Their actions have been addressed in other threads. Low class team. Very immature.

I'm interpreting this question by choosing the teams I respect for reasons other than their chances to win; although, the ability to be successful as a team has a good bearing on my choices.

    In the AFC: Colts, Jags
Colts - are one of the two best teams in the NFL. Good roster, good game planning, a great QB, and good team chemistry.
Jags - Coach took a gamble and committed to the right QB this season, and it's made a big difference. The game with the Pats will determine whether they are ready this season or still a year away from competing for the big game. Their D is good, but may lack some depth in the secondary. They seem to have good chemistry and pull together, which is the primary intangible I respect as a Pats fan.

    In the NFC: Giants, Packers
Giants - the season's last game against the Pats made me realize two things: the coaches understand the real priorities of an NFL team. I like Coughlin, and he's forced himself to change and grow over the past two seasons. The result is that he's got the attention of his team and the chemistry has become very positive. The second is that we are now seeing the maturation of Eli Manning. The kid had a good game against the Bucs, and he's starting to establish his own style.
Packers - Yeah, I admit the Favre thing this season is a feel-good story, but at times, it's been over-the-top syrupy media fawning. However, I like McCarthy's approach and the team has bought into it. The prima donnas don't exist on this team, because it's not tolerated. I can respect that.

You summed it up well. I have never liked the Giants but they really impressed me these past 2 weeks. More teams should give it their all rather than taking the last month off.

After watching play off games last weekend, Colts and Cowboys ONLY earn my respect.

No team can or will beat the Patriots. Colts, Eagles, Ravens, and Giants all played A+ games and lost. Jaguars...no passing game...throw 8 in the box and make Garrard beat you. Colts...Peyton Manning...January, enough said. NFC...not happening.

Yeah I don't even know why the league hasn't just stopped play and handed the Lombardi over to the Patriots?  - playing these next few games is such a waste of time when its guaranteed the Pats can't possibly lose

Giants, from what they've shown us these last three weeks. I'd rather lose to them in the playoffs than anyone else.

If the Patriots lose in the playoffs, Brady would need to get injured or throw a Manningesque 6 INT in one game, which isn't going to happen.

LOL.....like any NFL team cares about earning your respect.

Why don't you worry about updating yourself on this weeks specials and combo's and let the NFL coaches and team worry about "respect".

And yet you guys continue wonder why everyone hates the Patsies and their rectum of humanity fanbase.

    Sincerely,
