Wahooooo.... this one is almost as exciting to the neutral as Saints-Falcons was last Monday!

Bryant Gumbel, Deion Sanders, and Marshall Faulk are in the booth tonight. Well, at least Deion is OK. :bricks: I hope we don't have Faulk calling our Saturday night NFLN game.

It may be a boring game, but at least you get to see it. Thanks, Cablevision.

As always in these type games I just hope it's a decent close game. Did they say it's Shaun Hill's 6th year and 1st start? That isn't easy to do -:)

these players need to get educated on what can be challenged and they should stop whining to get every play challenged.

You know what? I would like it if the Pats were 15-0 and winning and have Marshall Faulk calling that game.

Willis is the guy I wanted last year. I know it would have been expensive but I think it would have been worth it. Is there a Willis in this years draft?

So far Bengals look like they've given up for the season. Second and goal 9ers.

I dont understand why dont the Bengals run a similar offense to the pats. Just go 4 wides and throw all over the place.

    carson cant handle it....

acutally, i dont think ANY other QB can play the spread with much effectiveness, other then Brady, and that includes manning, only Brady has that type of field vision...

however, i need TJ to do good, his on fantasy, and its playoffs...hopefully about 130 yds and 2 td's for TJ tonight, and a win for the bengals, will make me very happy

I really don't want that, I think he sucks big time. The father Faulk is away from a microphone the better.

Cinci is just not efficient. They throw too many deep balls, and too many of those are drops. Palmer is a good technical QB, but I just dont see the tenacity and focus that guys like Manning and Brady have. Those guys are moving chains consistently on 3rd downs. What's with going over the top all the time? That's great if you hit it, but its such a low % play. Imo, he just doesnt consistently make strong enough reads to keep the chains moving.

Carson Palmer looks like absolute dog crap this year.

In Every game i've watched of his this year, his accuracy and decision making are always wretched.

Tully "Bunta" Cain has made a couple of plays tonight. That's what Bryant Gumbell is calling him. Gumbell = proof positive that NFL Network doesn't give a **** who they give a mike to.

does anyone else find the NFL "companion broadcast" on nfl.com incredibly frustrating?

I can't stand this crap. They actually think we want to hear them talk instead of watching the game?

    idiots.

Yea, I actually thought he was worth the three year $8.7M contract the 49ers signed him to, and while AD's obviously the better LB (duh!), it would have been nice if NE could have kept Tully around as a rotational LB.

Oh, and my boi Patrick Willis is again looking outstanding.
