Time for some post ejaculation thoughts about Sarah Palin, Ben Stein has some interesting thoughts..

The former speech writer for Reagan and a stalwart of the right.. zero knowledge of the economy, she should have Henry Kissinger baby sit her

I don't get the point. She isn't a foreign policy expert but she's smart, can learn and will have many advisors. Take that sentence, replace "she" with "he" and it's an accurate statement about Obama. Except he would be the President, she wouldn't.

I know obama knows more about foreign policy than palin, kinda like palin knows more about snow machines and ted stevens than obama.. just one of those things.. Stein has always been a mouthpiece of all things right.

BTW Palin did not really touch foreign policy last night, why would stein change his mind???

Palin is well-versed in foreign policy and knowledge of the world. She even got a passport in 2006!

Why would anybody care what Ben Stein (of all the people you could possibly name) thinks?

Everytime I see this blowhard on TV I wish I
still had my rubber-band shooting rifle. I'd love
to fire some nice thick ones at his dome.
What's worse Ben Stein of fingernails on a blackboard?

Meh, I wish I had a regular rifle I could fire at him. "Win Ben Stein's Money" was terrible.

I'm not saying Palin knows more now or will in the future. I'm just saying that you don't either. I haven't been impressed with a lot Obama has said other than the speeches he reads; not enough to say with certainty that he has a good grasp on foreign affairs.

There would have been no surge and we wouldn't be where we are now had it been up to Obama. Not that I would judge him on one statement/vote/opinion like you are.

And before you say he was against the war - he was but he didn't have to vote. I'd put money on Hillary being against the war but she voted for it because she had to. We have no idea how Obama would have voted if he'd been a Senator at the time.
