On his track record the most probable course of action in this draft is not to take a RB. The most likely course of action for the Patriots is to sign a vet FAs big back, a former high draft pick who proved he could make the jump in class to the NFL, but obtained relatively cheaply because he has fallen on hard times, somehow. Anyone for a resigning of Antowain Smith as a reserve for Dillon? How about Duce Staley? Steve Davis anyone? Fred Taylor is my educated guess. My dark horse candidate is Duece (he's hurt) McCalister.
