LOL at BB's responses about Brady's injury

http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/reiss_pieces/

If this was a regular-season game, would Tom Brady have played?
“It’s not a regular-season game.”

Was it a last-minute decision with Tom?
“Was it a last-minute thing? I don’t know. We had a lot of players that didn’t make the trip. Guys that were here played, and the ones that didn’t, didn’t. If they weren’t going to play, they weren’t going to make the trip.”

Are you concerned about him at all? How would you characterize the injury?
“I wouldn’t characterize it.”

For the first time, I almost felt bad for the reporter. ALMOST. :D

Yeah, I just read that myself. Sounds like Bill wasn't in one of his chatty moods :D

Re: LOL at BB's responses about Brady's injury

You wonder why these reporters even try to talk to BB?

One of them could have asked Bill what time it is and he would have said "Well, its a few seconds past the last few seconds it took you to ask that question" :)

Re: LOL at BB's responses about Brady's injury

"Was it a last minute decision?"

Whomever the reporter was, he or she should have their press credentials revoked for at least one week for that question!

Re: LOL at BB's responses about Brady's injury

man, those BB snippets always have me laughing

Re: LOL at BB's responses about Brady's injury

When he gets a totally stupid question, it almost makes me wish we could see the BB that Cleveland saw, almost mimicing Parcells.

Q: "Was it a last minute decision to not start Tom Brady"

BB: No.

Q: "Was it a last minute decision on your part to not play Tom?"

BB: No, we wanted to see Matt, and Matt, and ...

Q: "Was it a last minute decision on your part to not bring Tom to Tampa?"

BB: Well let me check and see. After practice we decided who we wanted to see play and who would stay home. Tom was one of those that we decided would not make the trip, a decision that was made two days ago. Does that help answer your question?

Q: "Do you now regret your obviously incorrect decision to not bring Tom Brady to Tampa to win this very important game?"

BB: Would it help you if I wrote these answers with a crayon?

Q: I just want to know if it was a last minute decison ...

BB: Is 24 hours the same as a minute? I'm just asking you because you wrote a column about it over 24 hours ago, but now you consider it last minute. Last minute, last hour, last day - what's the difference!

Q: We understand that Giselle is rubbing Tom's foot; can you confirm?

BB: Well, if there's no more questions, thank you and good night.

Re: LOL at BB's responses about Brady's injury

The press should know better, if you want a decent response from BB ask a decent question.. it is not all that hard..

Re: LOL at BB's responses about Brady's injury

Usually if one asks a question about the past..where he is removed from the present..he will talk at length about it..so there are tangental ways to understand what..how he thinks..

From his post-game transcript. An absolute classic exchange regarding Brady and his availability/health:

Re: Belichick on Brady Injury [Classic]

I'm used to getting those types of responses from BB but for once could the guy answer a question properly. I mean, it's not like the reporter is asking him for his bank card PIN or anything.

As long as he keeps winning, it's great...I suppose.

No, the reporter asked him about information anyone with half a brain wouldn't divulge in that situation.

"Hey coach, how's your star QB? Is he gonna live?"
"Nope, he's a goner. Upcoming opponents, adjust your gameplans accordingly."

I'd prefer he didn't answer the question "properly", whatever the hell that is.

Re: Belichick on Brady Injury [Classic]

BB: Guys, guys, guys listen up, cuz I'm only going to say this once ok? Tom has a very sensitive anterior cruciate ligament that if hit in just the right way, also known as the Kimo von Oelhoffen method, well then I'd say his career would be as dead as the Manning family's brain cells.

*someone hands him a note*

And in another announcement I've been fired.
