This new Commish is an idiot. Things were running smoothly, then he has to let all the media run rampant over the NFL and then act like he has a strong hand. Tags had this thing running like a well-oiled machine and Goddell can't get his name out of the headlines.

A 3rd or 4th draft round draft choice would be the team punishment. The issue may now be bb's punishment, if he knew what was going on. And, yes, I do think suspension is possible, although that could be delayed.

So why is he going? To be yelled at? Are they still conducting the investigation and want to ask him questions?

If they have a team punishment ready, then I don't see why they would need to deliver that to Belichick personally.

What mess? You think things like this WEREN'T happening? It's turning into a media circus rather than being handled internally. The PR push makes it seem like he's a "tough guy cleaning up; doing a hard job in a hard time" but the reality is the whole image of the NFL has been getting soiled since he started the job. Remember, he wasn't promoted because of his vast experience, but because they thought he would be lock-step with what Tags did as his lieutenant. Instead, it's one story out of control after another.
