Ravens played how he expected, they execute like they always do, and did a better job in all phases. Deserve credit, we were very disappointed.

On any changes:

Will analyse things, decide what direction they're goiong in, league-wide things are different, nothing specific right now simply analysis, won't rush into a decision.

Have spent time talking about the lack of a CBA, will talk further, need to do what's bestfor the team.

Other teams decisions have no bearing on what we might do.

He's guarded today and he's not going to throw anyone under the bus or sign off on excuses...not that he ever does.

He is talking about lack of consistency impacting games including the inability to finish. If you have a belichicktoenglish decoder that's lack of consistent execution. I think that is true, although I personally think they lack the talent to in some areas.

"If we can get a little bit better in a lot of areas that's a big improvement."

Ultimately every play goes thru me, I have the final say, so if you have an issue it's with me...<to paraphrase> Mentioned there have always been complaints although he thinks the organization has certainly given the fans a lot to cheer for over the years.

Some great insight on the thought process as a game like this one unfolds and what he thinks you try to do and why. They didn't do anything different or unexpected other than excute better on both sides of the ball.

Explaining the wait and see approach to the off season given the impact of whether or not there is a new CBA. Better to wait and not make decisions until you have to because hopefully there will be more information by then. Otherwise bad decisions may appear good and good decisions may turn out bad.

Will spend a few days off and away from the game completely.

Has thanked the fans and has promised they'll work hard over the summer.

Has swapped texts with Saban, says he's done a great job, great coach.

Wow that was the most boring BB interview in a while.

After listening to that, doesn't sound like he intends on canning any coordinators or anything to me....

Read the post-script of his presser today. It sounds very much like he wants to be pushed harder on the decisions and he wants strong opinionated people around him. Charlie and RAC were, as well as Josh.

If he does intend on making changes on the coaching staff, I don't think he'd ever even come close to telegraphing it on WEEI.

Has had zero inquiries from any NCAA or NFL club on possible vertical moves for Bill Obrien or Dean Pees.

Can you stop now that you've done at least a half dozen of these? It's funny once maybe twice but after a while it's just aggravating. Not to be a douche but at the same time please stop.

I really think RAC is coming back....I just have that feeling.

I listened to it and he said he thinks they communicate fine though the dynamic is different in every situation and he realizes that some guys aren't as comfortable as others or early on in expressing themselves to any HC. He said it took him time to as well. But he didn't seem to think it was an issue. He's always welcomed strong opinion provided you can back it up with more than the kind of nonsensical rationale you see here on this message board. Make your case convincingly by his standards and he will listen. He still may not agree.

The same people who diss O'Brien used to diss Josh who was a very strong presence. Probably the strongest presence he ever worked with was the jackass who coordinated the 2005 defense before moving on to backstabber. They used to have screaming matches like a couple of hysterical teens...even before he was DC...

They should wait until right before the first game to announce it then have him picked up at the airport by a police escort and driven to the stadium Doug Mirabelli style.

Then he should come in and hit Pees over the head with a chair and grab the headset.

OK, this is pretty funny.
