There is one exception though. After coming one play away from 19-0 and having it end so horrifically, it would be sweet revenge to go 19-0. But I will take anything-anything with a title over a repeat of 18-1, or anything that ends with a loss.
Do you guys agree though that the 18-1 gash in our hearts will never be healed unless we miraculously went 19-0?
Even if we won the Superbowl, you would STILL think about that game.
I don't care about going 19-0. Okay, that's kind of a lie. I just don't think I could handle the post-season anxiety if they had another undefeated regular season.
After the SB That Shall Forever Remain Numberless to Me, I cried. I mean fall down on the floor crying. If my dog was Lassie, it would have called 911 crying. And drank. A lot. My liver still cramps up just thinking about it. I cannot watch highlights of that game to this day, and don't think I will ever be able to. If it happened again, it would kill me. You hear me? KILL ME!
I would be beyond ecstatic with four in the decade, and I don't care how they get it record-wise!
And that is the last I shall speak of 19-0. Good day, sir! I SAID GOOD DAY!
Ahem. Okay, I'm all better now.
I don't know, I'm thinking the Redskins and Bills may be the '09 media darlings; although the Jets do seem to have a stranglehold recently on being named champions in August. Pittsburgh will certainly be declared champions by many again because the easiest thing to do is select last year's winner; while others will decide that Arizona has no chance due to the "curse" of losing last year.Well it is the offseason so I guess it will be a Jags/Jets AFC Championship game.Oh wait that was last year.
Who are this years offseason darlings?

Yeah, that may have been a bad example. I was really hoping the Pats would win last year because ... well, because I'm a Pats fan; but also because I wanted to shut these idiots up about the stupid "Super Bowl curse."Well, that and sucking.

Is that "curse" about not winning the SB the next year, or just returing to the playoffs or SB? If the Pats were to get to the SB and beat Kurt Warner - again - does that mean the media would have to drop their theory of a SB curse, Pats haters would have to admit video taping had nothing to do with the three prior Lombardis, Pats would seal any debate about team of the decade, and Steeler fans would be vomiting in their own obsessive paranoid worries about losing claim to most Super Bowl victories?
