"Boo hoo hoo ... I screwed up. Boo hoo hoo ... " Sounds like Jimmy Carter in his Playboy interview.

And just like Carter, he is soft-spoken with zero personality.

The guy also has no core principle. Nada. He is willing to compromise on his major compaign promises: troops withdrawal in 2009, repeal of NAFTA, universal health care, ...

And his mixing politics with faith-based religion is reminiscent of Carter.

I'm not going to start bashing Obama as I said I was willing to give hime a chance. However ... when I posted numerous threads about Obama and questionable associations he had in the past I was bashed every time I made those threads. I was called a racist, a neo-con, a Fox News parrot and all the rest.

So why is the media and some in this forum surprised that Obama has chosen some people with blemishes and/or surprised that Obama had made so many errors already.

His first month in office is no different than the numerous statements he made that suspiciously were changed at a later date.

His first month in office has shown that he still continues to overlook criminal transgressions of others.

His first month in office has shown that he continues to change his mind daily ... just as he did when he first began running for President.

This is the same man I and others made many posts about ... he is no different now than he was one or two years ago. He is a bit wiser for sure but his political morality remains unchanged IMO.

All that being said I think he will be a good President after he begins to get it.

He will be a good President when he begins to see that his friends are merely pandering with his affection for political gains.

He will be a good President when he realizes that his closest allies will end up being some of the 'Blue Dogs' and moderate republicans. He will soon realize that liberals are what they always have been ... people who talk the talk but have little and no morality when it comes to walking the walk.

He is being exposed for being naive ... but he'll get tougher and he will get it. When he learns to use Pelosi/Reid for the political whores that they are he'll become a very good President. He is right to gradually assume power ... he will be wrong if he does not accelerate the process.

For all his faults Bush at least knew that D.C. was full of disengenuous media whores whose sole goal was to get elected again and again ... Obama will get that soon ... hopefully very soon. He has been used and abused in pushing a socialist agenda from the left ... he'll see it soon ... he's too intelligent not to see it.

Mikey you're the most confusing poster in this forum. It's not that you "take on" both sides, it's that I can't discern from any of your posts what your opinions are on anything. You seem to just post right wing and left wing talking points, even when they contradict each other.

Mikey has a problem with people having political power ... it's no more complicated than that.
