    #24 Jersey

I wouldn't mind that type of "temporary rest".

They've had to do that here too. They've had to pay workers to do nothing, cuz they couldn't lay them off per their CBA.

And they wonder why they're always losing out to Toyota, Nissan, Honda.... what a bunch of dumb-azz, inflexible, idiots. These guys I'm seeing on TV at these Congressional hearings are such losers.

Throw the bums out and start all over again. This time, do it right!

And they had better take a lesson from Toyota if they want to compete.

It will be sad to see US automakers disapear but I won't mind seeing union douchebags that make 75/hr to put down floor mats have to look for a job. If you were in a union wouldn't you try to come to the table and offer to take a pay cut to save the company you work for? The union is one of the main reasons I don't want a bailout. I am very scared that the 2 million job loss per company will have a devasting effect on the overall economy. This is not an easy decision for the lawmakers.

And we pay "leaders" not to lead. We pay teachers not to teach and doctors not to doctor.

Don't even get me started on Manny.
