What on earth goes on in what passes for her mind???

    Michele Bachmann Granted Swiss Citizenship

Wonder how long it'll be before she takes advantage of her Universal Health Care plan - the payment of which is nationally mandated? Or attends her first gay marriage ceremony?

Didja ever think about how bizarre Minnesota Politics are.. first you had Wellstone who was conveniently taken out.. then Bachman, Franken and Ellis..

Interesting krewe, some might conclude schizophrenia..

I think, using Tea Bagger logic, this means she is no longer a natural born citizen and can't run for president again.

This is dumb and foolish. As an elected representative of US citizens, you shouldn't have your loyalty split to a foreign nation. Shame on you, Mrs. Bachmann.

Yeah. That. But I was just kidding because Kennedy didn't give a damn what the Pope said. I hear Jesse Ventura is living in Mexico, now.

The onion has far more credibility.

I guess this so called diversity that leftists have been pushing down our throats for decades is now suddenly wrong and horrible? Leave it to liberals to ignore their so called principals when instead they can do the only thing they really understand, act like childish 3 year olds and hurl insults at their superiors.

I hope they checked her documentation and demanded the original birth certificate from the hospital she was born in, still sealed in the original envelope, with the stamp still affixed and undamaged. It would also be good to demand both her parents' birth certificate and their marriage license so they know she wasn't born out of wedlock as so many Americans are... after all they have to protect their border...

Guess she just hates America and doesn't feel fully American... or maybe she's really just a "citizen of the world".... ::shrug::

Just in case you weren't paying attention after eight years of bush wars and tax cuts for the rich it was in the ground. It was given last rights and dirt was about to be shoveled over it.

Don't leave, dude! I'm guessing the Bachmans are thinking exactly what you posted. They're bailing on their "beloved America and her Constitution" because the going is getting tough. Now that's presidential leadership! I honestly get that America isn't for everyone, though. Really. Some people like being with their own kind exclusively. Some are more flexible with what type of humans they hang out with. Just the way it is, I guess. I think America is better suited for the latter. And it's not determined by your race or religion. I think it's more about how you're raised and the level of anxiety you feel in general. Bachman always seemed like an anxious type. For example, Muhammed Ali loved being in Africa. George Foreman...not so much.

If you study how Cheney operated with Reagan, Bush I and Bush II he believed that he could bypass congress and did everything he could to do so.. see Grenada under Reagan, the private armies who are answerable to no one under Bush II and Obama.. time and time again he centralized the power in the presidency in order to bypass congress.

In Obama's case he terminated the Iraq war(where is the peace dividend???), should terminate the Afghanistan War and could not stop the tax cuts(congress overruled him)....
