From the end of July until January being an NFL assistant coach is a 70 hour week job, seven days a week....minimum. I don't think Troy wants to commit that much time to be a full time coach, nor does he need to. He has a good TV gig during the season and he had a few good paydays during his long career.
That being said, it is good to see him still willing to help out, and I love the fact that the core guys of the BB era come back a lot after they retire.
