It was a joke (in the vein of Jimmy Kimmel or Jay Leno)--a not extraordinarily funny one, but clearly intended as a joke.

But I agree that politics has no place on this board.

Thank you. I agree the story was really dumb and all that (and not remotely funny, but then, I'm a Pats fan!). With that election link and the HAHA, Keith! coming after it, I can see this getting uncomfortably political. I have never entered the politics forum for a reason.
